Seeing a bunch of posts about where to go for author websites. I use Dreamhost for the domain service (it's not free, but it is low end affordable and has solid support), and they have WordPress as their website builder, which I seriously recommend.

@ShantDotMe @eMediaTweets @AndrewASink @GoDaddy GoDaddy is a rip off. They charge you for every single little thing they can. I know; we just got our non-profit off of them in part because they wanted to charge us for full e-mail instead of forwarding. I use Dreamhost. I get full-service hosting with no limits for $15/month.
@AndrewASink @GoDaddy Oh, Andrew. Don't use GoDaddy; they rip people off big time. I use Dreamhost for my Website. I pay $15/month for monthly budgetary reasons, but I think if you pay for longer advanced time periods, it's less expensive. I've been with them for almost 20 years now.
Based on your past 3 months experience.
